My name is Willa (she/her) and I am grateful to reside on the traditional, unceded and ancestral territory of the S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō) Nation Coast Salish people.

Embarking on the path of healing and personal growth requires great courage, and I am here to walk alongside you. With a warm and nonjudgmental approach, I create a safe and nurturing space where, together, we can explore your innermost thoughts and feelings.

Being the daughter of Asian immigrants and having undergone my own healing process, I am aware of how deeply ingrained social, cultural and familial intersections may influence our perceptions of the world, other people, and our place in it. With a deep commitment to my own personal therapeutic journey and over 16 years of experience as a registered nurse, I offer a unique perspective on life's complexities. My therapeutic approach combines my professional expertise, educational background, and insights. I believe that creating a space where you feel comfortable and safe allows for the most meaningful growth and exploration.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, attachment, grief and loss, complex trauma, chronic health concerns, infertility, self-identity and exploration. I have worked with individuals within the correctional system who have experienced trauma, violence, and substance abuse.

I believe in the great wisdom that our bodies gently carry and am guided by my relational person-centred approach and draw on many modalities such as mindfulness, somatic, narrative, emotion-focused, and cognitive and dialectical behavioural therapies which will be personally tailored to your needs.

Whatever struggles you face, we will gently delve into the layers of your narrative, uncovering the paths that  have shaped your journey. Together, we can navigate the challenges you face and work towards discovering the profound value within you.

I respectfully acknowledge the great privilege as an uninvited settler living within the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory

of the S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō) Nation Coast Salish people.

“Stó:lō” is the Halq’eméylem word for “river.”

The Stó:lō people, or the people of the river, have been on these lands since time immemorial.
